Saturday, March 31st
Ocean City Home Bank Dixie Howell Memorial Classic
The American Boys defeated the Nationals, 95-79, with MVP Darnell Davis of Atlantic City scoring 22 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Trey Severs scored 15 points and Brandt Heininger had 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Severs won the three-point shootout in a tiebreaker with Mainland's Greg Gillespie. Severs also beat the girls three-point champion, Caitlin Ambrose of Sacred Heart, in the Shootout Showdown. (boxscore)
Just 4 Wheels CAL Girls Classic
Danielle Brady scored six points & grabbed four rebounds and Casey Beyel added four points but the Americans lost to the Nationals, 63-39. Aminah Davis of Pleasantville scored 20 points and was the MVP. (boxscore)
Ocean City PBA Legends Game
Bill Adamson had 18 points, including four three-pointers, to win the John Boyd Memorial MVP Award and lead Mainland to an 85-70 win over Ocean City. Four other players scored in double figures for Mainland with Dan Williams getting eight assists. Dave Beyel had 30 points and 17 rebounds for Ocean City with Antwan McClellan making nine assists. At The Top Camps 8th Grade Girls Game
Ocean City's Jennifer Bevan scored four points and her twin sister, Amanda, added two as the CA-Jr Girls defeated Barnegat, 69-14.
Carino Club Boys Basketball All Star Game
Trey Severs scored 9 points for the East team in a 112-107 win over the West. Anthony Raffa of Wildwood Catholic scored 19 points & was the game's MVP. Severs won the three-point shootout by making 16 in 45 seconds.
Monday, March 5th
NJSIAA Group 3 South Jersey Final at Cherry Hill East:
Girls Basketball (28-2) lost to Woodrow Wilson, 78-60
Wilson played like champions, making 50 percent of its shots, placing four players in double figures and only turning the ball over 12 times under the Raider pressure. It was Wilson's third South Jersey title in four years. Shannon Lane had 15 points, Nancy White 13 and Marilee Sobrinski 11 for OCHS, which had won 20 straight games. (boxscore)

NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament:
Girls Basketball (28-1) defeated Middle Township, 42-24
The Raiders shut out Middle, 15-0, in the second period and earned a spot in the South Jersey final for the second straight year. Nancy White had 10 points & 4 assists. Danielle Brady grabbed 10 rebounds. Middle was the only team to beat the Raiders during the regular season. (boxscore)
Thursday, March 1st
NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament:
Girls Basketball (27-1) defeated Central Regional, 50-23
The Raiders won their 19th straight and advanced to the South Jerwsey semifinals, where they will host Middle Township, the only team to beat them this season. Taylor Vanderslice drilled a trio of three-pointers in the second quarter to help OC pull away from Central. Kelly Brady also had nine points with Casey Beyel getting eight points & seven rebounds. Tuesday, February 27th
NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament:
Boys Basketball (13-14) lost to Timber Creek, 73-63
Timber Creek rallied and took the lead for good with a 22-13 second quarter. Trey Severs scored 28 points, setting a new OCHS record for free throws made in one season (157) and became the 13th player in Raider boys history to average over 20 points per game. A.J. Harris finished with 15 points and Brandt Heininger had a double-double, 10 points & 11 rebounds. (boxscore)
Saturday, February 24th
CAL Championship at Richard Stockton College:
Girls Basketball (26-1) defeated Holy Spirit, 46-34
Nancy White scored 15 points and made 9 of 11 free throws. Casey Beyel added 12 points on 6-for-9 shooting. Danielle Brady had 7 points & 7 rebounds as OCHS enjoyed a 35-22 advantage off the boards. It was the Raiders' 1st overall CAL title and their 18th straight win. The 26 victories is a new OCHS record for a season. (boxscore)
Friday, February 23rd
Boys Basketball (13-13) defeated Sacred Heart, 80-66
The Raiders made 79 percent of their shots in the first period and opened a 28-9 lead in their final regular season game. They led by 32 late in the third period when John Bruno played the balance of his squad. Trey Severs scored 16, John Fogarty and Devon Scioli each had 13 and Chris Harris scored 10. A.J. Harris had 8 points, 6 rebounds & 5 assists. (boxscore)
Thursday, February 22nd
Girls Basketball (25-1) defeated Toms River East, 48-41 OT
Nancy White was 8 for 8 from the foul line in overtime to help the Raiders escape with the win. East led by as many as 11 points in the third quarter but OC tied it on White's free throw with 4:52 left in the fourth period. Neither team scored the rest of that quarter. White scored 24 points and Danielle Brady grabbed 10 rebounds. (boxscore)
Boys Basketball (12-13) lost to Toms River East, 67-64
Trey Severs scored nine points in the final two minutes but his three-pointer with four seconds left tipped off the rim. Severs finished with 28 points and five assists. A.J. Harris and Brandt Heininger combined for 15 points and 15 rebounds. (boxscore)
Tuesday, February 20th
Wrestling (7-18) in Region 8 Meet at Absegami
Matt Graham was pinned in the second period, ending the OCHS season.
Girls Basketball (24-1) defeated Millville, 69-23
Danielle Brady scored 16 points, Alysia Remaley added 12, Amanda Landi had 11 and Kelly Brady 10.
Boys Basketball (12-12) lost to Millville, 81-56
Trey Severs scored 14 points and A.J. Harris added 10. Brandt Heininger grabbed 10 rebounds. Millville outscored the Raiders, 27-12, in the second quarter. (boxscore)
Monday, February 19th
NJSIAA South B Championship:
Girls Swimming (8-4) lost to Haddonfield, 108-62
Freshman Caroline Eisenhower won the 100 breaststroke, OC's only individual win. The Raiders also won the 200 freestyle relay.
Saturday, February 17th
NJSIAA South B:
Girls Swimming (8-3) defeated Woodstown, 101-68
Kelly McCarthy and Vanessa Dilberovic each won an individual race and swam on two winning relay teams.
Wrestling (7-18) finished 9th in District 32 Meet at Absegami
Matt Graham won a first period pin in the 145-pound consolation match to finish 3rd and advance to the regionals.
AtlantiCare Ventnor City Shootout:
Girls Basketball (23-1) defeated Bishop Eustace, 49-32
Nancy White had 12 points, six rebounds and four assists. Danielle Brady added nine points and 11 boards. (boxscore)

Boys Swimming (2-5) lost to Haddonfield, 110-60
George Santer, Pat Lavin and Gene Taylor each swam on two winning relay teams.
Wrestling (7-18) in District 32 Meet at Absegami
James Jackson, Johnny McCardell, Matt Graham and Josh Gamble all advanced.
Thursday, February 15th
NJSIAA South B:
Girls Swimming (7-3) defeated West Deptford, 119-52
Kelly McCarthy and Vanessa Dilberovic each won an individual race and swam on two winning relay teams.
Girls Basketball (22-1) defeated Atlantic City, 47-45
OCHS had trouble with he Vikings again, never able to pull away. Nancy White scored 21 points, including four straight from the line.
Boys Basketball (12-11) lost to Atlantic City, 81-51
Trey Severs scored 13 points and Brandt Heininger added 11 but the Raiders fell behind, 31-8, after one quarter. (boxscore)
Tuesday, February 13th
Girls Basketball (21-1) defeated Mainland, 42-34
The Raiders clinched the American Conference championship, outscoring the Mustangs by 10-2 in the third quarter. Nancy White and Casey Beyel each scored 13 points. (boxscore)
Boys Basketball (12-10) defeated Mainland, 75-73
Trey Severs hit two free throws with 2.8 seconds left to give the Raiders the win. Severs finished with 32 points, including a trio of three-pointers. Brandt Heininger had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Mainland led by 12 with 3:48 to play. (boxscore)
Sunday, February 11th
Future Stars Shootout at Mainland:
Girls Basketball (20-1) defeated Haddon Heights, 32-24
Casey Beyel had nine points and Danielle Brady grabbed 16 rebounds. OC won despite shooting just 24 percent from the field and 48 percent from the line. (boxscore)
Boys Basketball (11-10) defeated Eastern, 72-60
The Raiders stormed back with a 27-9 advantage in the third quarter after trailing by nine at the half. Trey Severs had 28 points, nine rebounds and three assists and was voted the game's Outstanding Player Award. He also made the 200th three-pointer of his career, an all-time CAL record. Devon Scioli had 17 points & 11 rebounds, Brandt Heininger had 11 points & 10 rebounds. (boxscore)

Wrestling (7-17) defeated Woodstown, 43-24
Wrestling (7-18) lost to Collingswood, 67-6
Mike Zoltek registered two wins on the day for the Raiders.
Friday, February 9th
Wrestling (6-17) defeated Sacred Heart, 41-27
Rich Dougherty, Johnny McCardell and Tim Graeber each wons pins for OCHS.
Thursday, February 8th
Girls Basketball (19-1) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 47-37
Nancy White led OCHS to its 11th straight win with 18 points.
Girls Swimming (6-3) in CAL Diving Championships
Carly Sheppard finished third for the Raiders.
Boys Basketball (10-10) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 68-61
The Raiders made 29 of 32 free throws to overcome EHT's 15 three-pointers. Trey Severs scored 25 points and made 15 of 16 free throws. Devon Scioli added 12 with Brandt Heininger grabbing 12 rebounds. (boxscore)
Wednesday, February 7th
Wrestling (5-17) defeated Mainland, 43-28
Johnny McCardell, Matt Graham, Tim Graeber and Mark Andrews each came away with pins for OCHS.
Tuesday, February 6th
Girls Basketball (18-1) defeated Absegami, 62-33
The Raiders clinched their division championship by beating the two-time defending state champs again on the strength of a 41-13 second half. Nancy White had 14 points, Danielle Brady 12 and Kelly Brady 11.
Boys Basketball (9-10) lost to Absegami, 77-56
Ocean City had an eight-point lead in the first period but Gami stormed back to lead by 11 at the half. Trey Severs scored 17 points and A.J. Harris 14 for the Raiders. (boxscore)

Saturday, February 3rd
Girls Basketball (17-1) defeated Highland, 38-22
Kelly Brady scored nine and Michelle McKinley netted eight.
Boys Basketball (9-9) lost to Absegami, 58-53
Trey Severs scored 19 points and Brandt Heininger had a double-double with 13 points & 13 rebounds. The Raiders led by seven in the fourth quarter but Gami rallied for the win. (boxscore)
Thursday, February 1st
Girls Basketball (16-1) defeated Vineland, 79-30
Michelle McKinley scored 18 points, Kelly Brady 11 and Casey Beyel 10 for the Raiders, who opened a 26-4 lead after one quarter.
Boys Basketball (9-8) lost to Vineland, 55-52
Trey Severs scored 21 points and Brandt Heininger added 11 points & 9 rebounds. OC got the ball with a chance to tie with six seconds left but turned it over. (boxscore)
