Tuesday, April 8th
OCHS junior Mike Galante announced he will transfer to Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ for his senior year.

Saturday, April 5th
Micah Rolls, Ashley DuRoss, Catie LaRue & Mary Rybicki all played in the senior all star games with the Cape-Atlantic League's best during All Star Saturday. The games were played April 5 at the Ventnor Community Complex. Paul Baruffi coached the girls team.

Sunday, March 16th
Wrestling (5-15) in NJSIAA State Tournament at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall
Mike Galante finished 4th in the state.

Saturday, March 15th
Wrestling (5-15) in NJSIAA State Tournament at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall
Mike Galante won his quarterfinal match in the morning but lost in the semifinals. He will wrestle for third place on Sunday.

Friday, March 14th
Wrestling (5-15) in NJSIAA State Tournament at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall
Mike Galante won twice and moved into the state quarterfinals.

Saturday, March 8th
Wrestling (5-15) in Region 8 Tournament at Absegami
Mike Galante won in the morning to reach the finals but dropped an 8-6 decision in the final match to finish second in the region. He will wrestle again Friday night in the NJSIAA State Championships at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.

Friday, March 7th
Wrestling (5-15) in Region 8 Tournament at Absegami
Mike Galante won again to advance to the semi-finals on Saturday.

Thursday, March 6th
NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament:
Girls BB (18-7) lost to Woodrow Wilson, 63-45
Catie LaRue had 13 points, 6 rebounds & 3 blocks. Mary Rybicki scored 12 points on four three-pointers. Score was tied, 23-23, early in 3rd quarter and Wilson went on a 21-8 run. OC had 31 turnovers. Wilson moves into South Jersey semifinal against Highland.

Tuesday, March 4th
Wrestling (5-15) in Region 8 Tournament at Absegami, 4pm
Junior Mike Galante won his match and advanced to the quarter-finals on Friday.
NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament:
Girls BB (18-7) defeated Deptford, 66-55
Ashley DuRoss had 20 points, 13 rebounds & 7 assists. Mary Rybicki added 12 points, including a trio of three-pointers, and Kristen Gibbs had 10 points & 7 assists. Junior guard Lauren Fisher had 25 points & 6 steals for Deptford. OC advanced to the South Jersey quarter-finals against Woodrow Wilson.

Saturday, March 1st
Wrestling (5-15) in District 32 Semi-Finals at Absegami
Mike Galante loses final but advances to Region 8 Tournament. Channing Perone, Wayne Molosky & Mario Silva all suffered season-ending losses in consolation matches.

Friday, February 28th
Wrestling (5-15) in District 32 Meet at Absegami
Mike Galante, Channing Perone, Wayne Molosky & Mario Silva all won and advanced to the semi-finals.

Thursday, February 27th
Boys BB (9-14) defeated Hammonton, 60-51
Micah Rolls had 16 points, 14 rebounds & 4 assists. Jack Nixon added 8 points & 4 rebounds in this season finale. John Cranston, Jack Boyd & Doug Colman received their OCHS Sports Hall of Fame awards at halftime.
Girls BB (17-7) lost to Atlantic City, 54-40
Catie LaRue scored 16 points and Ashley DuRoss added nine.

Tuesday, February 25th
Girls BB (17-6) defeated Hammonton, 44-40 OT
Girls won division title 1st time since 1992. Mary Rybicki led the scoring with 14 points. Ashley DuRoss had 11 points & 9 rebounds, including 6 points in the overtime period. Rachel Constantine made three free throws to give OC the lead in overtime.
Boys BB (8-14) lost to Shawnee, 52-40
Micah Rolls had 16 points, 10 rebounds & 2 assists. Jack Nixon added 9 points.

Monday, February 24th
Girls BB (16-6) defeated Oakcrest, 61-55
Catie LaRue had 24 points & 10 rebounds and Ashley DuRoss added 16 points & 10 rebounds as Raiders rallied in the 4th quarter.

Saturday, February 22nd
Wrestling (5-15) lost to Pinelands, 42-27
Wayne Molosky & Mike Galante won by pin, Mario Silva won a technical fall, Channing Perone a forfeit and Josh Hawn a decision.
Girls BB (15-6) lost to Holy Spirit, 51-37
Megan Larsen had 13 points & 11 rebounds and Catie LaRue scored eight points in this makeup game at the Prime Events Girls Shootout in Ventnor.

Friday, February 21st
Boys BB (8-13) defeated Millville, 65-53
Micah Rolls had 20 points, 8 rebounds & 3 assists. Raiders ended 9-game losing streak.

Thursday, February 20th
Girls BB (15-5) defeated Lower Cape May, 37-28
Catie LaRue had 12 points & 6 rebounds, Ashley DuRoss scored 8 points and Megan Larsen grabbed 10 rebounds.
Boys BB (7-13) lost to Lower Cape May, 50-46
Phil Schaffer scored 18 points & Micah Rolls added 11. It was the 9th straight loss for the Raiders, a new school record.

Girls BB (14-5) lost to Sacred Heart, 59-43
Catie LaRue had 8 points & 9 rebounds for the Raiders, who lost to the No. 3 ranked team in South Jersey at the Prime Events Girls Shootout in Ventnor. Ashley DuRoss, Mary Rybicki & Megan Larsen each added 6 points.

Thursday, February 13th
Boys BB (7-12) lost to Oakcrest, 73-45
Jack Nixon had 10 points & 5 rebounds, Josh Raab made 4 steals. Oakcrest made an impressive 64 percent of its shots, 82 percent from three-point range. Loss was 8th straight, tying school record.

Tuesday, February 11th
Girls BB (14-4) defeated St. Joseph, 39-19
Catie LaRue had 9 points & 10 rebounds, Ashley DuRoss had 8 points & 8 rebounds and Kristen Gibbs added 3 steals & 4 assists.

Monday, February 10th
Wrestling (5-14) at Northern Burlington - POSTPONED until Feb. 19

Sunday, February 9th
Girls BB (13-4) defeated Camden Catholic, 51-45
Catlie LaRue had 13 points & 10 rebounds and Ashley DuRoss had 10 points & 11 rebounds. Raiders made 23 of 31 free throws and had 40-24 advantage off the boards.

Saturday, February 8th
Boys BB (7-11) lost to Absegami, 74-42
Micah Rolls scored 11 points, Andrew Moore had 6 rebounds and Phil Schaffer had 4 assists. Raiders made just 22 percent of their shots. Jack Nixon left the game with an injured ankle. Gami's Lamar Wright scored 30, including 6 of 6 from three-point range.
Wrestling (5-14) lost to Collingswood, 41-30
Mike Galante, Channing Perone, Josh Hawn and Tom Tyrrell all pinned their opponents in a match that came down to the final bout.

Thursday, February 6th
Girls BB (12-4) lost to Mainland, 40-29
Ashley DuRoss & Megan Larsen each scored six points. The Raiders had only nine field goals.
Boys BB (7-10) lost to Mainland, 77-68
Jack Nixon had 17 points, Antwaine Campo scored 15, Micah Rolls had 12 points & 11 rebounds and Matt Schaffer scored 10. But it wasn't enough as the loss made it impossible for OCHS to qualify for the Group 3 Tournament.

Wednesday, February 5th
Wrestling (5-13) lost to Oakcrest, 44-25
Channing Perone & Josh Hawn won pins, Wayne Molosky & Will Hennessy won decisions and Mike Galante won by forfeit.
Swimming (7-3) defeated Middle Township, 104-60
Tom Krzyk led the way by winning the 200 IM & 100 butterfly as Raiders won 6th straight.

Tuesday, February 4th
Girls BB (12-3) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 44-42
Ashley DuRoss led the way with 19 points & 8 rebounds. Kaitlyn Lawlor scored 11 points & Kristen Gibbs had 5 assists.
Boys BB (7-9) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 68-63
Jack Nixon scored a career-high 18 points and had 6 rebounds. Phil Schaffer scored 17 and had 5 steals. Raiders rallied from 14 down to within one.

Saturday, February 1st
Wrestling (5-11) defeated Mainland, 39-30
Wrestling (5-12) lost to St. Augustine, 42-38
Mike Galante, Channing Perone, Will Hennessy, Mario Silva & Wayne Molosky all won twice in Raider split.
Girls BB (11-3) defeated Triton, 46-23
Kaitlyn Lawlor scored 10 points & had 4 steals, Ashley DuRoss had 7 rebounds and Megan Larsen had 6 rebounds & 4 steals.
Boys BB (7-8) lost to Triton, 68-60
Micah Rolls had 23 points, 13 rebounds & 4 assists. Phil Schaffer added 14 points & 7 assists. Raiders rallied from 18 down to within 2 points before suffering 4th straight loss.

Thursday, January 30th
Girls BB (10-3) lost to Oakcrest, 52-45
Ashley DuRoss scored 15 & Kaitlyn Lawlor 10 for Raiders, who led by one entering the 4th period. Oakcrest took over the division lead with the win.
Boys BB (7-7) lost to Oakcrest, 72-47
Micah Rolls had 9 points & 3 assists, Phil Schaffer had 9 points & 4 steals. The loss was OC's 3rd straight and Oakcrest qualified for the Group 3 Tournament with the win.

Wednesday, January 29th
Catie LaRue & Ashley DuRoss nominated to McDonald's
All-America Game
The two OCHS seniors are among just eight girls picked from South Jersey - National 100 finalists to be named Feb. 17.
Wrestling (4-11) lost to Hammonton, 52-21
Channing Perone & Mario Silva won pins - Mike Galante, Will Hennessy & Bob Skellenger won decisions.

Saturday, January 25th
Wrestling (4-8) lost to Pennsauken, 45-30
Wrestling (4-9) lost to Delran, 43-22
Wrestling (4-10) lost to Holy Cross, 54-22
Mike Galante, Channing Perone & Mario Silva won 3 times for the Raiders.

Friday, January 24th
Swimming (6-3) defeated Hammonton, 129-53
Justin Southard won the 50 & 500 freestyle and was part of two winning relays. Ken Sedberry won the 100 free & the 100 backstroke while joining one winning relay team.
Boys BB (7-6) lost to Hammonton, 65-47
Tim Brunetti had 12 points & 5 steals, Micah Rolls had 12 points & 5 rebounds. The loss marked the end of OC's 63-game winning streak over Hammonton that started in 1953.
Girls BB (10-2) defeated Hammonton, 48-30
Mary Rybicki & Kaitlyn DuRoss led a balanced attack with 9 points each. Senior guard Rachel Constantine got the clearance to start practice on Monday. Senior center Catie LaRue could be back as early as Thursday.

Wednesday, January 22nd
Wrestling (4-7) lost to Absegami, 69-6
Channing Perone & Mike Galante won the only two decisions against New Jersey's No. 1 ranked team. Pat Lynch received his OCHS Hall of Fame award prior to the match.

Tuesday, January 21st
Swimming (5-3) defeated Millville, 113-72
Justin Southard led the way by winning the 50 & 100 freestyles and swimming on two winning relay teams.
Boys BB (7-5) lost to Middle Township, 57-48
Micah Rolls had 12 points, 6 rebounds & 4 assists. Martin Markowski had 10 points & 7 rebounds.
Girls BB (9-2) defeated Middle Township, 40-32
Ashley DuRoss had 11 points & 8 rebounds, Mary Rybicki added 10 points.

Saturday, January 18th
Indoor Track in NJSIAA Group 3 Relays at Princeton University
The girls distance relay team of Allie Moreland, Alexandra Marcus, Brenda Briney & Brittany Sedberry finished 5th.
Wrestling (4-5) lost to Clearview, 60-18
Wrestling (4-6) lost to Pennsville, 42-36
Mike Galante & Mario Silva both registered 2 pins in the tri-match with Channing Perone & Will Hennessy each getting 2 wins.

Friday, January 17th
Swimming (4-3) defeated Lower Cape May, 105-80
Samantha King, Ken Sedberry, Katie Hope & Tom Krzyk all won.
Girls BB (8-2) lost to Absegami, 54-34
Ashley DuRoss scored 12 points but OC's six-game winning streak was ended & Absegami took control of the American Conference race.
Boys BB (7-4) defeated Absegami, 69-50
Phil Schaffer scored a career-high 21 points and Micah Rolls had 16 points & 7 rebounds. The Raiders made 57 percent of their shots.

Wednesday, January 15th
Wrestling (4-4) lost to Buena, 59-12
Pins by Mike Galante & Bob Skellenger accounted for the OC points against No. 8 ranked Buena. Former Raider Jim Thomas won for the visitors.
Boys BB (6-4) defeated Sacred Heart, 54-50
Phil Schaffer had 14 points, 5 steals & 8 assists and Tim Brunetti, starting in place of the injured Micah Rolls, had 12 points & 7 rebounds.

Tuesday, January 14th
Swimming (3-3) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 106-80
Ken Sedberry won the 100 backstroke & was part of 2 winning relay teams.

Monday, January 13th
Boys BB (5-4) defeated Millville, 61-51
Phil Schaffer had a career-high 17 points & 5 assists. Raiders made 9 of 14 free throws in final 2 minutes to hold on. Micah Rolls sprained his ankle in the 3rd quarter and is questionable for the next game.
Girls BB (8-1) defeated Millville, 56-28
Ashley DuRoss had 15 points & 10 rebounds as OC won 6th straight and clinched a spot in the Group 3 Tournament. Kaitlyn DuRoss added 10 points & 9 rebounds.

Saturday, January 11th
Wrestling (2-3) lost to Lower Cape May, 46-21
Wrestling (3-3) defeated Middle Township, 48-27
Wrestling (4-3) defeated Gateway, 39-30
Josh Hawn won three by pin with Channing Perone, Mike Galante and Will Hennessy also notching three wins on the day.

Friday, January 10th
Boys BB (4-4) lost to Lower Cape May, 54-43
Phil Schaffer & Micah Rolls each scored 10 points but OC was limited to 16 points in the first half.
Girls BB (7-1) defeated Lower Cape May, 50-46
Four straight points by Ashley DuRoss broke a 46-46 tie and led to 5th straight OC win. Megan Larsen paced the scoring with 14 points.

Thursday, January 9th
Boys BB (4-3) defeated Buena, 60-58
OC made 5 free throws in the final 25 seconds and Phil Schaffer came up with a steal with 6 seconds left. Jack Nixon had 16 points & 4 assists, Schaffer had 13 points & 6 assists. Buena's Drew Mack, playing for the 1st time this year after a football injury, scored 20 points.
Girls BB (6-1) defeated Buena, 69-18
Mary Rybicki scored 16 points & Kaitlyn Lawlor had 11. Ashley DuRoss grabbed 10 rebounds & Kaitlyn DuRoss had 5 steals & 5 assists. Senior center Catie LaRue had surgery on her broken nose & will miss about 4 weeks.

Wednesday, January 8th
Swimming (2-3) defeated Atlantic City, 97-89
Raiders swept the three relays in handing ACHS its 1st defeat. Mike Corrigan, Ken Sedberry & Justin Southard each won a race and were part of two relay wins.
Wrestling (2-2) lost to Vineland, 46-27
Pins by Channing Perone, Mario Silva, Mike Galante & Bob Skellenger plus a decision by Josh Hawn accounted for the Raider wins.

Tuesday, January 7th
Boys BB (3-3) defeated Vineland, 71-34
Jack Nixon scored 13 and Micah Rolls 10 to help the Raiders get back to .500. Junior guard Larry Curran, averaging 10 points per game, transferred to Wildwood Catholic.
Girls BB (5-1) defeated Vineland, 41-29
The DuRoss sisters led the way - senior Ashley scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 4 steals; sophomore Kaitlyn scored 8 of her 9 points in the 4th quarter. Senior center Catie LaRue missed the game with a broken nose suffered in practice.

Saturday, January 4th
Wrestling (1-0) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 48-31
Wrestling (2-0) defeated Millville, 47-24
Wrestling (2-1) lost to Rancocas Valley, 62-18
Mike Galante & Channing Perone both won three times as the Raiders won two of the three team decisions. All three of Galante's wins were pins.

Friday, January 3rd
Boys BB (2-3) lost to Mainland, 56-48
Jack Nixon had 10 points, Phil Schaffer had 9 points & 5 assists and Micah Rolls had 8 points, 11 rebounds & 5 assists.
Girls BB (4-1) defeated Mainland, 53-43
Ashley DuRoss scored 19 and Catie LaRue 10 as OC took the lead in the division race.

Monday, December 30th
Boardwalk Basketball Classic at Wildwood Convention Center
Girls BB (3-1) defeated Wildwood Catholic, 45-33
Catie LaRue scored 15 points and Ashley DuRoss added 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals & 3 assists.

Sunday, December 29th
Boardwalk Basketball Classic at Wildwood Convention Center
Girls BB (2-1) lost to St. Hubert's PA, 46-33
OC lost 1st game of season despite 15 points by Catie LaRue and 10 by Kaitlyn Lawlor, who was 4 for 4 from the floor.

Saturday, December 28th
Boardwalk Basketball Classic at Wildwood Convention Center
Boys BB (2-2) lost to Wildwood Catholic, 62-39
Jack Nixon scored a career-high 14 points but the Raiders were beaten off the boards, 44-25, by the bigger Crusaders in the championship game.
Indoor Track at Seton Hall Games
The distance relay team of Erik Geisinger, Blake Boffa, Jim Dugan & John Richardson finished 1st & set a school record.
Wrestling (0-0) at Woodstown Holiday Tournament
The Raiders finished 4th but Channing Perone, Mike Galante & Bob Skellenger won individual titles.

Friday, December 27th
Boardwalk Basketball Classic at Wildwood Convention Center
Boys BB (2-1) defeated Glassboro, 59-54
Micah Rolls had 21 points & 15 rebounds, shooting 9 for 12 - Larry Curran added 13 points & Phil Schaffer had 3 steals & 4 assists.

Saturday, December 21st
Girls BB (2-0) defeated Cherry Hill West, 54-34
Catie LaRue had 11 points & 7 rebounds - the Raiders scored 29 points from 29 West turnovers.
Boys BB (1-1) defeated Cape May Tech, 64-48
Larry Curran scored 12 & Jack Nixon 10 for OC, which also got 8 points, 13 boards & 4 assists from Micah Rolls - the Raiders shot 47 percent to Tech's 29.

Friday, December 20th
Boys BB (0-1) lost to Atlantic City, 79-52
Micah Rolls had 14 points & 8 rebounds for Raiders, Larry Curran added 10
Girls BB (1-0) defeated Atlantic City, 61-33
Ashley DuRoss scored 16 & Catie LaRue 14.

Wednesday, December 18th
Swimming (1-3) lost to Vineland, 97-86
Justin Southard won the 50 freestyle, Katie Hope won the diving

Friday, December 13th
Swimming (1-2) lost to St. Augustine Prep, 68-26
The 400 Freestyle relay team of Ken Sedberry, Brian Riordan, Justin Southard & Ian Hardin supplied the only first.

Tuesday, December 10th
Swimming (1-1) lost at Mainland, 132-54
The Mustangs finished first in every event.

Tuesday, December 3rd
Swimming (1-0) defeated Oakcrest, 112-74
Justin Southard, Tom Krzyk & Ken Sedberry each contributed to three first places.
