Thursday, June 4th
Boys Track (4-4) at NJSIAA Meet Of Champions (South Plainfield)
Sophomore Miles Schoedler finished 15th in the 1600 meter run.
Sunday, May 31st
NJSIAA Boys Tennis Singles Tournament:
Dan Barrus lost to Jason Magnes of Millburn, 6-2,6-0, in the third round. Magnes went on to win his next match in straight sets to reach the state quarterfinals. EHT's Keith Goldstein was also beaten in the third round, officially ending the CAL tennis season.
Friday, May 29th
Boys Track (4-4) at NJSIAA State Group 3 Meet (South Plainfield)
Sophomore Miles Schoedler finished 6th in the 1600 meter run and advanced to the Meet of Champions. Brett Johnson, who won two events in last year's state meet and went on to win the 1600 in the MOC, was unable to compete because of injuries.
Thursday, May 28th
Girls Lacrosse (15-1) defeated Our Lady of Mercy, 19-4
Sarah Marcolongo scored 5 goals and Katie Feairheller added 3.
Baseball (12-11) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 7-5
The Raiders won 7 of their last 8 to finish above .500 for the first time in 3 years. Vinnie Murphy, Sean Feeney, Brian Longo and Connor Ortolf each had two hits. One of Murphy's was a home run. Mike Hood got the win.
Wednesday, May 27th
Boys Tennis (14-4) defeated Oakcrest, 3-2
The Raiders shared the division title with the win. It is the program's first-ever American Conference championship, 1st CAL title of any type since 1983 and the most wins in a season since 1996. Dan Barrus won in straight sets again and the OCHS doubles teams (Dan Hiltner-Kyle Redman and Alex Huffard-Zack Shutzboth) also won in straight sets.
Tuesday, May 26th
Boys Tennis (13-4) at Oakcrest - postponed until 5/27
Saturday, May 23rd
Boys Track (4-4) finished 6th at South Jersey Group 3 Meet (Buena)
Brett Johnson was unable to compete in the 800 or 3200 meter runs because of an injury. Ryan Mazzeo was 2nd in the pole vault and Mike Oberg third. Miles Schoedler was third in the 3200 and Jack Stephenson was sixth in the javelin. All advance to next weekend's state meet.
Girls Track (3-5) finished 14th at South Jersey Group 3 Meet (Buena)
Becky Canderan finished 5th in the 400 meters and the 4x400 meter relay team (Noelani Lawler, Shannon Greene, Francesca Babore and Canderan) finished 4th. They will all compete again on Saturday in the state meet.
Friday, May 22nd
Girls Lacrosse (14-1) defeated Mainland, 14-9
Katie Feairheller scored 4 goals and had 2 assists and Ashleigh Dinan scored 3 times.
Baseball (11-11) defeated Mainland, 5-4
Winning pitcher Connor Ortolf had a pair of singles and scored twice. He struck out 11 and was pitching a shutout until Brent Caprio hit a grand slam home run in the bottom of the 7th. Sean Feeney had 3 singles for the Raiders.
Boys Track (4-4) at South Jersey Group 3 Meet (Buena)
Brett Johnson won the 1600 meters for the 3rd straight year and Miles Schoedler finished 2nd. Both advance to next weekend's state meet.
Softball (4-13) lost to Timber Creek, 11-9
Jessica Nesi and Shannon O'Neill each had a double and two singles.
Thursday, May 21st
Girls Lacrosse (13-1) defeated Millville, 14-7
Katie Feairheller scored 5 times and had 4 assists as the Raiders clinched their 2nd Cape-Atlantic League championship in three years.
Boys Tennis (13-4) defeated Mainland, 3-2
Dan Barrus won in straight sets again and the OCHS doubles teams won. Dan Hiltner and Kyle Redman won first doubles in straight sets and the Alex Huffard-Zack Shutz team won in three sets. The win puts the Raiders one win away from sharing a division title.
Boys Lacrosse (13-6) defeated Paul VI, 11-5
Josh Crego scored 5 times, including the 100th goal of his career. The Raiders finished the season with more wins than they had in the first two years, combined.
Baseball (10-11) defeated St. Augustine, 12-7
Connor Ortolf had a double and 2 singles as the Raiders rallied for their fifth win in the last six games. Mike Hood got the victory.
Wednesday, May 20th
Boys Tennis (12-4) lost to Mainland, 4-1
Dan Barrus won in straight sets and the Raiders fought close, three-set battles at No. 2 singles and second doubles in this very tight match.
Tuesday, May 19th
NJSIAA Group 3 Lacrosse Tournament:
Girls Lacrosse (12-1) lost to Clearview, 16-6
Katie Feairheller and Lacey Nicholl each scored twice but the Raiders suffered their 1st loss of the season. OCHS trailed, 11-1, at halftime but regrouped in the 2nd half.
Coed Golf (15-2) defeated Millville, 154-179
Matt Lombardi shot a 37 with Matt Galownia, Jared Ash and Brandon Bartley each shooting 39 in the final match of the season.
Boys Tennis (12-3) defeated Hammonton, 4-1
Dan Barrus and Charlie Nusbaum won straight set singles victories and the Raiders swept the two doubles matches in straight sets.
Boys Lacrosse (12-6) defeated Lower Cape May, 11-1
Josh Crego scored 3 times and Trevor Allen added 2.
Baseball (9-11) lost to Holy Spirit, 6-1
The Raiders 4-game win streak ended to the National Conference champions. Sean Feeney had 2 hits and drove home the only run. Joe Garrison also had 2 hits.
Softball (4-12) defeated Millville, 9-8
Jessica Nesi continued her impressive hitting, smacking a grand slam home run in a 5-run third inning. Meridith Miedama had a triple and Laura Pearce a double.

Girls Lacrosse (12-0) vs Lower Cape May - postponed
Monday, May 18th
Coed Golf (14-2) defeated Oakcrest, 162-179
Joe Massaglia shot a 39 at Blue Heron Pines with Matt Galownia and Matt Lombardi each carding 40s.
Boys Tennis (11-3) defeated Oakcrest, 3-2
With Dan Barrus missing, Charlie Nusbaum stepped up to No. 1 singles and rallied for a three-set win. The Raiders swept the two doubles matches in straight sets.
Boys Lacrosse (11-6) defeated Oakcrest, 14-2
Josh Crego had 7 goals and 4 assists with Marc Impagliazzo and Sean Devlin each scoring twice.
Girls Track (3-5) lost to Absegami, 82-58
Becky Canderan won the 400 meters, Jill Baltz the 800, Jordan Ippolito the 100 hurdles, Laurie Vogel the pole vault and the Raiders won the 4x400 relay.

Saturday, May 16th
NJSIAA Group 3 Lacrosse Tournament:
Girls Lacrosse (12-0) defeated Mainland, 16-6
Katie Feairheller and Sarah Marcolongo each scored 4 times as the Raiders advanced to a quarterfinal game against Clearview.
NJSIAA Group 2 Lacrosse Tournament:
Boys Lacrosse (10-6) lost to Hopewell Valley, 9-3
Josh Crego, Marc Impagliazzo and Jeremiah Bailey scored the goals in the first-ever tournament game for OCHS.
Boys Track (4-4) defeated Absegami, 71-69
Brett Johnson swept the 800 and 1600 meters as the Raiders finished the dual-meet season with a .500 record. OCHS won five other events, including a Mike Oberg win in the pole vault, clearing 13-6
Baseball (9-10) defeated Oakcrest, 5-1
The Raiders notched their 4th straight victory. Alex Wallace got the win as Mike Hood hit a two-run home run and Vinnie Murphy hit a solo shot.

Friday, May 15th
Coed Golf (13-2) defeated Oakcrest, 149-194
Matt Lombardi shot a two-under 33, including two birdies, with Matt Galownia and Joe Massaglia each shooting 38 at Greate Bay.
Baseball (8-10) defeated Absegami, 6-2
Connor Ortolf pitched a complete game, striking out 6, as the Raiders won their 3rd straight. Sean Feeney had a homer, a single and 3 RBIs.
Softball (3-12) lost to Absegami, 11-0 (5 innings)
The Raiders were limited to 3 hits, singles by Jessica Nesi, Nicole Mangine and Kayla Iannace.
Boys Tennis (10-3) at Oakcrest - postponed until 5/26
Girls Lacrosse (11-0) at Mainland - postponed until 5/19
Thursday, May 14th
Boys Track (3-4) at CAL Meet (Atlantic City)
Brett Johnson won the league championship in the 1600 meters. In addition, Miles Schoedler was 2nd in the 3200, Jimmy O'Connor 2nd in the high jump, Dan Stephenson 2nd in the javelin and Ryan Mazzeo 3rd in the pole vault.
Girls Track (3-4) at CAL Meet (Atlantic City)
OCHS finished 1st in the 4x800 meter relay. Becky Canderan was 3rd in the 400 meters and the Raiders were 2nd in the 4x400 relay.
Wednesday, May 13th
Girls Lacrosse (11-0) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 9-3
Lacey Nicholl scored 3 goals with Katie Feariheller and Amanda Grau each getting 2.
Coed Golf (11-2) defeated Absegami, 158-164
Coed Golf (12-2) defeated Cape May Tech, 158-188
Matt Lombardi shot a 38 and Brandon Bartley a 39 at Greate Bay.
Boys Lacrosse (10-5) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 9-5
Josh Crego scored 5 times for the Raiders.
Baseball (7-10) defeated Vineland, 4-2
Connor Ortolf had 2 doubles and a single, driving home 2 runs. Mike Hood struck out 6 in getting the win.
Softball (3-11) lost to Vineland, 8-0
Leanne Miller struck out 10 and limited the Raiders to one hit, a 4th inning single by Jessica Nesi.
Boys Tennis (10-3) defeated Absegami
Tuesday, May 12th
Coed Golf (10-2) defeated Absegami, 161-167
Matt Lombardi, Jared Ash and Joe Massaglia each shot 39s at Seaview.
Boys Tennis (9-3) lost to Kingsway, 3-2
Dan Barrus won in straight sets at No. 1 singles and the second doubles team of Alex Huffard and Zach Shutz won a three-setter. The loss ended OC's 8-match win streak, the longest in 7 seasons.
Boys Track (3-4) defeated Atlantic City, 97-43
Brett Johnson swept the 800 and 1600 meters. OCHS also got two wins each from Jimmy O'Connor (400 hurdles and high jump) and Jack Stephenson (shot put and javelin).
NJSIAA Group 3 Tennis Tournament:
Girls Track (3-4) defeated Atlantic City, 105-34
Anna Ceniccola swept the 1600 and 3200 meters. Other double winners for the Raiders were Jordan Ippolito (100 hurdles and triple jump), Fransesca Barbore (400 and long jump) and Kamara Lawler (shot put and discus).
Baseball (6-10) defeated Vineland, 11-7
Tyler Reich blasted a 3-run homer and Mike Hood smacked a 2-run tater. Reich finished with 2 hits and 5 RBIs. Connor Ortolf had a single and double.
Softball (3-10) lost to Mainland, 8-2
Gina Favinger drove in both runs with a 1st inning double, one of two she had in the game.
Boys Tennis (9-2) at Mainland - postponed until 5/21
Monday, May 11th
Girls Lacrosse (10-0) defeated Lower Cape May, 19-4
Sarah Marcolongo scored 4 times with Lacey Nicholl, Katie Feariheller and Jen Staab each getting 3.
Coed Golf (9-2) finished 4th in NJSIAA Tournament
Brandon Bartley shot an 84 at Running Deer with Matt Galownia and Joe Massaglia each shooting 86.
Boys Tennis (9-2) defeated Millville, 3-2
Dan Barrus, Charlie Nusbaum and Brandon George won their singles matches in straight sets to complete a season sweep of the Thunderbolts.
Boys Lacrosse (9-5) defeated Lower Cape May, 17-3
Josh Crego scored 4 goals with Marc Impagliazzo and Aden Steindl each scoring 3.
Baseball (5-10) lost to Hammonton, 6-0
The Raiders managed just 2 singles off a pair of Hammonton pitchers.
Softball (3-9) lost to Hammonton, 7-4
Jessica Nesi smacked a 2-run home run but the Raiders managed only 6 total hits.
Saturday, May 9th
Girls Lacrosse (9-0) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 16-3
Sarah Marcolongo scored 5 goals with Amanda Grau getting 3.
Boys Lacrosse (8-5) defeated Vineland, 10-3
Josh Crego scored 6 goals and Marc Impagliazzo added 2.
Baseball (5-9) lost to St. Augustine, 5-3
Losing pitcher Connor Ortolf only allowed 3 hits in 5 innings but was hurt by two key OCHS errors. He contributed a double and a single to the Raiders attack.
Softball (3-8) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 9-0
Morgan Bogushefsky had a double and a single.
Friday, May 8th
NJSIAA Group 3 Tennis Tournament:
Boys Tennis (8-2) defeated Pinelands, 5-0
All five matches were in straight sets with the second doubles team of Alez Huffard and Phil Adams winnig, 6-0,6-0. It was the first tournament win by OCHS since 1996.
Boys Lacrosse (7-5) lost to Cherry Hill East, 6-3
Josh Crego scored twice for the Raiders.
Baseball (5-8) lost to Absegami, 6-2
Sean Feeney singled and doubled for the Raiders who were eliminated from the NJSIAA Tournament picture with the loss. Absegami qualified by winning.
Boys Track (2-4) finished 1st at County Meet (Lower Cape May)
The Raiders won the county title for the 2nd straight year, the 9th time in 10 years and the 29th time overall. OCHS outscored runner-up Middle Township, 157-67. Brett Johnson won both the 800 and 1600. Other county champions were Miles Schoedler(3200), Jimmy O'Connor (400 hurdles), Jack Stephenson (javelin) and Ryan Mazzeo (pole vault).
Girls Track (2-4) finished 1st at County Meet (Lower Cape May)
OCHS kept its perfect record intact, having now won the meet all 30 times it has been held. The Raiders outscored 2nd place Lower Cape May, 140-76. Anna Ceniccola had the biggest win when she defeated Wildwood Catholic's Chrissy Casiello in the 3200 meters. Other OC athletes to win county titles were Becky Canderan (400) and Laurie Vogel (pole vault).
Softball (3-7) lost to Absegami, 10-0 (5 innings)
Shannon O'Neill's 5th inning single broke up the no-hit bid by Absegami freshman Kelly Lupton.
Boys Tennis (7-2) vs Oakcrest - postponed until 5/18

Girls Lacrosse (8-0) at Our Lady Of Mercy - postponed

Sarah Marcolongo scored 6 goals with Lacey Nicholl getting 4.
Coed Golf (9-2) defeated Vineland, 148-209 (Greate Bay)
Matt Lombardi shot a 35 at Greate Bay with Matt Galownia carding a 36 and Brandon Bartley a 38.
Boys Tennis (7-2) defeated Vineland, 4-1
Dan Barrus was a straight set winner at No. 1 singles with Brandon George moving up to No. 2 and winning in straight sets.
Boys Lacrosse (7-4) lost to Mainland, 8-6
Marc Impagliazzo scored twice for the Raiders.
Baseball (5-7) at Mainland - postponed until 5/22
Softball (3-6) vs Mainland - postponed until 5/12
Tuesday, May 5th
Coed Golf (8-2) at CAL Invitational (Atlantic City CC)
Matt Lombardi finished tied for 4th with a 74 for 18 holes. Matt Galownia shot a 79 and Jared Ash an 84.
Boys Tennis (6-2) defeated Atlantic City, 5-0
All 5 matches were in straight sets with Dan Barrus winning, 6-0,6-0, at No. 1 singles.
Boys Track (2-3) defeated Mainland, 76-55
Boys Track (2-4) lost to Millville, 78-53
Brett Johnson won the 800 meters against both teams in the tri-meet at Carey Stadium. Jack Stephenson was a double winner in the javelin and Jerome McKeiver in the discus.
Girls Track (2-3) lost to Millville, 103-37
Girls Track (2-4) lost to Mainland, 71-69
Kendell Davis won the 100 meters against both opponents in the tri-meet in Millville. Kamara Lawler was a double winner in the discus.

Coed Golf (8-2) lost to Mainland, 155-166 (Linwood)
Matt Lombardi shot a 40 at Linwood with Matt Galownia and Joe Massaglia each getting 41s.
Boys Lacrosse (7-3) vs Vineland - postponed until 5/9
Boys Tennis (5-2) vs Mainland - postponed until 5/20
Girls Lacrosse (7-0) at Millville - postponed until 5/21

Saturday, May 2nd
Baseball (5-7) defeated Atlantic City, 8-1
Mike Hood tossed a one-hit shutout, striking out 8. The only ACHS hit was a 2nd inning home run. Vinnie Murphy had a double and 2 singles for Ocean City.
Softball (3-6) defeated Atlantic City, 2-1 (9 innings)
Winning pitcher Gina Favinger scored the winning run in the 9th on a wild pitch. She struck out 10 and limited the Vikings to 4 hits. Jessica Nesi tripled and singled and scored OC's other run.
Friday, May 1st
Girls Lacrosse (7-0) defeated Middle Township, 9-8
Katie Feariheller scored the game-winner, her 4th of the game, with less than 7 minutes to play. Sarah Marcolongo also scored twice.
Boys Lacrosse (7-3) defeated Middle Township, 15-5
The win qualified the Raiders for the NJSIAA Tournament for the 1st time. Josh Crego scored 6 goals with Marc Impagliazzo getting 3.
Softball (2-6) lost to Oakcrest, 8-2
Jessica Nesi hit a home run in her first varsity at bat. Meridith Miedama and Kayla Iannance each doubled.
Baseball (4-7) vs Oakcrest - postponed until 5/15
