Thursday, November 26th
Football (5-5) defeated Pleasantville, 28-6
Chris Curran broke 11 school records as he completed 20 of 33 passes for 264 yards and 2 TDs and kicked 3 field goals. Pat Kimball caught the two touchdowns.
Saturday, November 21st
Boys Cross Country (9-0) at NJSIAA Meet of Champions (Holmdel)
Junior Miles Schoedler finished 109th in the race between New Jersey's finest distance runners.
Saturday, November 14th
Boys Cross Country (9-0) finished 5th at NJSIAA State Group 3 Meet
Junior Miles Schoedler finished 8th at Holmdel Park and qualified for the Meet of Champions. Erik Johnson was 17th and Mike Hagan finished 25th.
Girls Cross Country (7-1) finished 19th at NJSIAA State Group 3 Meet
Sophomore Kayla Noll finished 74th and sophomore Kaylie Gallagher was 99th.
Wednesday, November 18th
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey Tournament of Champions at Hunterdon Central:
Field Hockey (22-2) lost to Eastern, 9-1
The loss, to the team ranked No. 4 in the nation, ended the Raiders' 17-game winning streak. Liz Cruz scored the OCHS goal.
Monday, November 16th
Football (4-5) defeated Cumberland, 33-22
Chris Curran broke the school record with 5 touchdown passes. He also set a school single-season record with 119 completed passes. Curran threw a pair of TD passes each to Andy Fiorentino and Josh Grande. In addition, Grande intercepted his 7th pass of the season, a school record.
Sunday, November 15th
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey State Championship at Toms River East:
Field Hockey (22-1) defeated Warren Hills, 2-1 OT
Colleen Slaughter scored in the first two minutes of overtime with a penalty stroke to win OC's seventh state championship. Lauren Price scored the other goal.
Friday, November 13th
Football (3-5) vs Cumberland (Carey Stadium) - postponed
Thursday, November 12th
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey Tournament at Neptune:
Field Hockey (21-1) defeated Wall, 2-1
Colleen Slaughter scored in the final minute of regulation to send the Raiders to the state final. Karley Stephens registered the other goal.
Tuesday, November 10th
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey South Jersey Championship:
Field Hockey (20-1) defeated Kingsway, 2-0
Colleen Slaughter scored both goals and Natalie Hunter got her 15th shutout as the Raiders earned their 9th South Jersey title.
Saturday, November 7th
Boys Cross Country (9-0) finished 1st in SJ Group 3 Meet (Delsea)
The Raiders won the South Jersey team championship for the 3rd consecutive season. Miles Schoedler won the individual South Jersey title, Ocean City's 4th straight individual champion and 6th in nine years. Erik Johnson finished 5th.
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey Tournament:
Field Hockey (19-1) defeated Hammonton, 7-1
Liz Cruz, Lauren Price and Colleen Slaughter each scored twice and the Raiders reached the South Jersey final for the 12th time in 13 years.
Girls Cross Country (7-1) finished 3rd in SJ Group 3 Meet (Delsea)
Sophomore Kayla Noll finished 16th and junior Emily Duggan was 20th. By finishing 3rd, the Raiders qualified for the state meet.
Friday, November 6th
Football (3-5) defeated Atlantic City, 31-26
Chris Curran completed 16 of 24 passes for 199 yards and three TDs, two of them to Mike Coccodrilli. Sean Bryce ran 42 yards in the 4th quarter for what turned out to be the winning score.
Wednesday, November 4th
NJSIAA Group 3 Field Hockey Tournament:
Field Hockey (18-1) defeated Seneca, 7-0
Colleen Slaughter and Danielle McNally each scored twice. Natalie Hunter recorded her 14th shutout.
Tuesday, November 3rd
Girls Tennis (12-8) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 3-0
Aida Pleho and Kelsey Boylan won singles matches and Melissa Drinkard and Kory Gardner won at first doubles.

Boys Soccer (8-8-1) lost to Seneca, 4-0
Monday, November 2nd
Field Hockey (17-1) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 6-0
Colleen Slaughter scored three times, giving her 43 goals this season, breaking Abbey Woolley's OCHS season record. Natalie Hunter scored her 13th shutout.
NJSIAA Group 3 Girls Soccer Tournament:
Girls Soccer (6-5-4) tied Seneca, 1-1 (Lost Shootout)
Kelsey Ladd scored for Ocean City.

Boys Soccer (8-7-1) defeated Oakcrest, 4-1
Steve Zellers scored twice.
Friday, October 30th
Football (2-5) lost to Absegami, 26-7
Chris Curran completed 12 of 24 passes for 158 yards and a TD to Andy Fiorentino. Pat Kimball caught seven passes for 81 yards. The loss eliminated any chance of the Raiders qualifying for the NJSIAA playoffs.
Field Hockey (16-1) defeated Hammonton, 7-0
Colleen Slaughter scored twice, giving her 81 career goals, breaking Jenee Doto's OCHS record. Danielle McNally also scored twice and Natalie Hunter notched her 12th shutout.
Girls Tennis (11-8) defeated Hammonton, 5-0
Andrea Rubin, Aida Pleho and Kelsey Boylan all won singles matches in straight sets.
Thursday, October 29th
Boys Cross Country (9-0) finished 1st in CAL Meet (Stockton)
Miles Schoedler finished 2nd overall behind Phil Fanz of St. Augustine. Erik Johnson was 6th, Andrew DeMaria 7th and Mike Hagan 12th.
Girls Cross Country (7-1) finished 3rd in CAL Meet (Stockton)
Sophomore Kayla Noll finished 12th and sophomore Kaylie Gallagher was 19th.
Girls Tennis (10-8) lost to Mainland, 3-2
Aida Pleho won in straight sets at No. 2 singles and Kelsey Boylan won the No. 3 match in three sets.
Girls Soccer (6-5-3) lost to Deptford, 3-0

Field Hockey (15-1) defeated Vineland, 8-0
Colleen Slaughter scored twice and Natalie Hunter notched her 11th shutout.
Girls Tennis (10-7) defeated Vineland, 4-1
Aida Pleho at No. 2 singles and the second doubles team of Carling Mott and Katelynn Wintz both won in straight sets.
Girls Soccer (6-4-3) defeated Vineland, 3-0
Francesca Babor scored her first two varsity goals and Julie Burnell got the shutout.
Boys Soccer (7-7-1) defeated Vineland, 1-0 2OT
Brian Longo scored the winner in the second overtime and Kieran Keyser got the shutout.
Saturday, October 24th
Boys Soccer (6-7-1) defeated Middle Township, 4-0
Joe Thornton scored twice while Kieran Keyser and Ryan Heckler shared the shutout.
Girls Soccer (5-4-3) at Clearview, 10am - cancelled
Friday, October 23rd
Football (2-4) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 28-14
Chris Curran ran for one TD and hit Andy Fiorentino for the other, also kicking both extra points. Curran threw for a career high 193 yards and junior Mike Coccodrilli caught seven passes for 124 yards. OCHS led the game midway through the 3rd quarter against the undefeated Eagles.
Boys Cross Country (9-0) finished 1st in County Meet (County Park)
The Raiders won the Cape May County championship for the 29th time in 36 years. Miles Schoedler broke the course record set by John Richardson in 2001. He was followed across the finish line by Mike Hagan, Andrew DeMaria and Erik Johnson.
Girls Cross Country (7-1) finished 2nd in County Meet (County Park)
Sophomore Kayla Noll finished 2nd overall behind Wildwood Catholic's Tara Wuko, who won the individual title for the 3rd straight year. OCHS sophomore Kaylie Gallagher was 4th. Catholic defeated the Raiders, 30-32, for the team title.
Girls Tennis (9-7) lost to Millville, 5-0
Only the second doubles team of Carling Mott and Katelynn Wintz was able to win a set.
Thursday, October 22nd
Field Hockey (14-1) defeated Millville, 7-1
The Raiders clinched their 13th straight conference championship and 18th in 23 seasons. Colleen Slaughter and Jenn Staab each scored twice.
Wednesday, October 21st
Field Hockey (13-1) defeated Atlantic City, 7-0
Colleen Slaughter notched her fourth straight hat trick with three goals and Liz Cruz scored twice. It was Natalie Hunter's 10th shutout of the year.
Girls Soccer (5-4-3) lost to Hammonton, 2-0
Julie Burnell made 5 saves.
Boys Soccer (5-7-1) lost to Hammonton, 3-1
Mark Miedama scored in first half.
Tuesday, October 20th
Girls Tennis (9-6) lost to Cumberland, 3-2
No. 3 singles player Kelsey Boylan won in straight sets and the second doubles team (Carling Mott-Katelynn Wintz) won a three-set match. Two other matches also went to a third set in this very tight match.
Monday, October 19th
Girls Soccer (5-3-3) tied Cherry Hill East, 0-0 2OT
Julie Burnell notched her 3rd shutout in 4 games.
Boys Soccer (5-6-1) defeated Wildwood Catholic, 1-0
Brian Longo scored midway through the second half.
Saturday, October 17th
Field Hockey (12-1) vs Holy Cross - cancelled
Girls Soccer (5-3-2) vs Williamstown - postponed
Friday, October 16th
Football (2-3) defeated Millville, 13-12
Chris Curran hit Andy Fiorentino for the game-tying TD with 3:17 left and then kicked the winning point. Curran also kicked two field goals, setting a new OCHS record with 7 career field goals. Rob Zauck made 18 tackles, including 12 solos. He made the final 3 defensive plays of the game.

Wednesday, October 14th
Girls Tennis (9-5) lost to Mainland, 3-2
Kelsey Boylan won in straight sets at No. 3 singles and Aida Pleho won a tight, three-set match at No. 2 singles, winning the third set on a tiebreaker.
Tuesday, October 13th
Boys Cross Country (9-0) defeated Vineland, 16-47
The Raiders clinched their 3rd straight conference championship and fourth in five years. Mike Hagan was first across the finish line, followed by Andrew DeMaria, Miles Schoedler and Erik Johnson.
Field Hockey (12-1) defeated Mainland, 7-0
Colleen Slaughter notched her third straight hat trick with three goals. It was Natalie Hunter's ninth shutout of the year.
Girls Cross Country (7-1) defeated Vineland, 21-39
The first to finish was sophomore Kayla Noll, followed by junior Sam Piergross, sophomore Kaylie Gallagher and freshman Tess Solazzo.
NJSIAA Group 3 Girls Tennis Tournament:
Girls Tennis (9-4) lost to Cumberland, 3-2
No. 3 singles player Kelsey Boylan and the second doubles team (Carling Mott-Katelynn Wintz) won in straight sets. Aida Pleho lost a tough, three-set match at No. 2 singles.
Girls Soccer (5-3-2) defeated Mainland, 1-0
Sophomore Kelly Williamson scored her first varsity goal with three seconds left in regulation for the win.
Boys Soccer (4-6-1) lost to Mainland, 2-1 OT
Mark Miedama scored for OC with 25 second left in regulation to send the game into the extra period.
Saturday, October 10th
Boys Cross Country (8-0) finished 6th at Manhattan Invitational (NY)
Erik Johnson finished 13th in the Varsity D race with Mike Hagan coming home 19th. Miles Schoedler slipped and fell and was withdrawn.
Friday, October 9th
Football (1-3) lost to Hammonton, 41-7
Chris Curran hit Ryan McSorley for his 4th TD pass of the season but injured his knee in the third quarter and did not return. The Raiders turned the ball over five times. Hammonton QB Nick Crescenzo ran for three TDs and passed for another.
Field Hockey (11-1) defeated Absegami, 8-0
Colleen Slaughter scored four times to increase her CAL-leading goal total to 28 and Natalie Hunter got her eighth shutout. The Raiders have won their last 6 games by a combined 47-1.
Girls Tennis (9-3) defeated Absegami, 5-0
The singles trio of Andrea Rubin, Aida Pleho and Kelsey Boylan all won in straight sets.
Boys Soccer (4-5-1) lost to St. Augustine, 2-1 OT
Brian Longo tied the game with a second half goal as the Raiders battled with the team ranked No. 1 in South Jersey.
Thursday, October 8th
NJSIAA Group 3 Girls Tennis Tournament:
Girls Tennis (8-3) defeated Kingsway, 4-1
Aida Pleho, Kelsey Boylan and the doubles team of Melissa Drinkard-Krista Zoller all won in straight sets.
Girls Soccer (4-3-2) lost to Shawnee, 4-1
Caitlyn Bryce scored for the Raiders against the No. 9 ranked team in South Jersey.
Wednesday, October 7th
Field Hockey (10-1) defeated Oakcrest, 9-0
Colleen Slaughter had the three-goal hat trick and Natalie Hunter got her seventh shutout. The Raiders have won their last 5 games by a combined 39-1.
Girls Soccer (4-2-2) tied Oakcrest, 0-0 2OT
Julie Burnell made 15 saves for OCHS.
Boys Soccer (4-4-1) defeated Oakcrest, 3-1
Brian Longo scored the 1st goal and assisted the other two.
Girls Tennis (7-3) defeated Oakcrest
Tuesday, October 6th
Boys Cross Country (7-0) defeated Oakcrest, 18-42
Boys Cross Country (8-0) defeated Absegami, 17-42
Miles Schoedler finished and Mike Hagan finished one-two with Erik Johnson taking 4th as the Raiders clinched at least a tie for the American Conference title.
Girls Cross Country (6-0) defeated Oakcrest, 18-39
Girls Cross Country (6-1) lost to Absegami, 26-29
Emily Duggan finished third, Kayla Noll fourth and Sam Piergrass fifth but Gami's one-two finish was too much to overcome.
