Football (4-6) lost to Pleasantville, 28-27 OT
Jordan Torroni scored one TD and passed another to Mike Wood for
the lead in overtime. But the Greyhounds scored and kicked the PAT to win it. Dan Bonato & George
Coccodrilli both scored OCHS touchdowns. It marked only the 2nd time any CAL Thanksgiving game has
gone into overtime.
Sunday, November 20th
NJSIAA STATE GROUP 3 FINAL:
Field Hockey (22-1-1) defeated Ridge, 2-1 (TCNJ)
Casey Beyel & Rachel Hunter scored to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead
and they held off Ridge in the 2nd half. It was OC's 6th state championship in the last 9 years.
Saturday, November 19th
Girls CC (8-1) at NJSIAA Meet of Champions (Holmdel)
Senior Renee Tomlin finished 12th in this race between the state's
best. She was the only OCHS runner to qualify. The champion was Danielle Tauro of Southern Regional. OC's
Brittany Sedberry had won the last two years but was unable to compete because of illness.
Friday, November 18th
NJSIAA STATE GROUP 3 FINAL:
Boys Soccer (24-0-1) defeated Scotch Plains, 2-0 (TCNJ)
The 1st undefeated soccer team in OCHS history and most wins in
a season. Raiders win their 5th state boys soccer title. Mike Mousaw & Ryan Scully scored the goals
and Mike Dugan finished his career in goal undefeated.
Wednesday, November 16th
NJSIAA STATE GROUP 3 SEMIFINAL:
Field Hockey (21-1-1) defeated Moorestown, 2-1 OT (Montgomery)
Juniors Casey Beyel & Kimmie Krzyk each scored in the overtime
shootout and sophomore goalie Devon Seifert turned away four of the Quakers' five shots for the win after
two scoreless overtime periods. Justine Kleeman had scored the Raiders' goal in regulation but Moorestown
tied the game five minutes later.
Tuesday, November 15th
NJSIAA STATE GROUP 3 SEMI-FINAL:
Boys Soccer (23-0-1) defeated Hopewell Valley, 2-1 OT (Bridgewater)
Pat Tolomeo's 2nd goal of the game, in overtime, sent the Raiders
into the state final. Rafael Duarte scored the other OCHS goal.
Saturday, November 12th
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 PLAYOFFS:
Football (4-5) lost to Lacey Township, 17-14
A 20-yard field goal with five seconds left beat the Raiders in this
bizarre playoff game. Lacey scored twice within 2:20 of the third quarter then Dan Bonato returned the
kickoff 81 yards for a TD. There were 7 turnovers in the game, 3 by OCHS. A.J. Harris scored the other
Raider TD.
Boys CC (10-0) finished 9th in NJSIAA Group 3 Meet (Holmdel)
Ryan Birchmeier finished first for OC in 27th place. Brett Johnson
was 33rd, John Fennekohl 70th, Will Pestalozzi 72nd & Matt Cowhey 89th. Both Fennekohl & Cowhey
were battling illnesses.
Girls CC (8-1) finished 10th in NJSIAA Group 3 Meet (Holmdel)
Renee Tomlin was 6th overall, qualifying for the Meet of Champions
as an individual. Erin Walsh finished 55th, Kristen Ceniccola was 86th, Lacey Nicholl 90th & Kelsey
Greene 97th. Defending state champion Brittany Sedberry was unable to run because of illness.
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 FINAL:
Field Hockey (20-1-1) defeated Kingsway, 1-0 2OT
Melissa Hunter scored her 50th career goal in overtime to give OC
the South Jersey title. The Raiders had lost to Kingsway in the final the last 2 years.
Friday, November 11th
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 FINAL:
Boys Soccer (22-0-1) defeated Lacey, 8-0
All the scoring was in the 2nd half as the Raiders won their 3rd
straight South Jersey title and 6th in 7 years. Rafael Duarte, Kyle Evans, Kevin McCarthy, Jon Mitchell &
Mike Mousaw each scored. Mike Dugan fashioned the shutout.
Wednesday, November 9th
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 SEMIFINALS:
Field Hockey (19-1-1) defeated Hammonton, 3-0
Justine Kleeman, Kimmie Krzyk & Melissa Hunter scored for OC.
Sophomore Devon Seifert chalked up her 19th shutout.
Tuesday, November 8th
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 SEMIFINALS:
Boys Soccer (21-0-1) defeated Highland, 6-1
Kyle Evans scored the hat trick and the Raiders advanced to the
South Jersey final for the 7th time in 8 years. Kevin McCarthy had 2 assists & Rafael Duarte added a goal
and an assist.
Saturday, November 5th
Boys CC (10-0) finished 3rd in South Jersey Group 3 Meet (Delsea)
Raiders finished behind Moorestown & Highland but advance to the
state meet. Matt Cowhey was 11th overall, the 1st OCHS runner to finish.
Girls CC (8-1) finished 2nd in South Jersey Group 3 Meet (Delsea)
Renee Tomlin was 2nd overall but OC finished 72 points behind team
champion Moorestown. Brittany Sedberry was unable to finish the race because of illness. The 2nd place
finish qualified the Raiders for the state meet.
Friday, November 4th
Football (4-4) defeated Oakcrest, 27-12
Raiders qualified for the Group 3 playoffs for the 1st time in 4 years.
They will play at Lacey Township on Saturday, Nov. 12. Jordan Torroni threw 3 TDPs, two of them to A.J.
Harris, and Dan Bonato ran 92 yards for another score to tie a school record.
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 TOURNAMENTS:
Boys Soccer (20-0-1) defeated Central, 5-0
Rafael Duarte scored another hat trick and the Raiders advanced to
the South Jersey semifinals. Mike Dugan & John Fogerty shared the shutout.
Field Hockey (18-1-1) defeated Clearview, 5-1
Kimmie Krzyk scored twice as OC had to rally from a 1-0 deficit. The
Raiders scored three goals in the second half to take control & advance to the South Jersey semi-finals.
Thursday, November 3rd
NJSIAA SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 3 TOURNAMENT:
Girls Soccer (12-5-2) lost to Timber Creek, 1-0
Raiders allowed an unassisted goal in the 2nd half. OC finished as
Division Two champions in the American Conference.
Tuesday, November 1st
CAPE-ATLANTIC LEAGUE PLAYOFF:
Boys Soccer (19-0-1) tied St. Augustine, 1-1 OT
For the 3rd straight year the two teams tied & failed to produce an
overall CAL champion. Rafael Duarte gave OCHS the lead in the 2nd half with a goal but The Prep
answered five minutes later.
Monday, October 31st
CAPE-ATLANTIC LEAGUE PLAYOFF:
Field Hockey (17-1-1) defeated St. Joseph, 6-0
The Raiders won their 8th overall CAL title & their 3rd straight. Casey
Beyel scored twice for OC. After the game, twin sisters Melissa & Rachel Hunter, who each scored a goal,
confirmed that they will both attend Ohio State.
Sunday, October 30th
SOUTH JERSEY COACHES TOURNAMENT FINAL:
Boys Soccer (19-0) defeated Rancocas Valley, 3-1 (Eastern)
The Raiders won the coaches tournament for the 1st time. Pat
Tolomeo scored twice & Kyle Evans once.
Friday, October 28th
Football (3-4) lost to Absegami, 24-7
Jordan Torroni threw for 150 yards & scored the only OCHS
touchdown. Mike Hinsley caught five passes for 81 yards. Gami took advantage of three Raider turnovers
and scored twice on passes by QB Mike Isgro.
Boys Soccer (18-0) defeated Bishop Eustace, 7-0
Rafael Duarte scored his 2nd straight hat trick, stretching his string
of games with at least one goal to eight. Mike Dugan earned the shutout.
CAPE-ATLANTIC LEAGUE RUNOFF:
Boys CC (10-0) defeated Bridgeton, 22-33
The Raiders won their first-ever overall league championship. Matt
Cowhey was 1st overall with Ryan Birchmeier 3rd, Brett Johnson was 5th, Will Pestalozzi 6th & John
Fennekohl 7th for OCHS.
Field Hockey (16-1-1) lost to Shawnee, 1-0
The Renegades continued their advantage over the Raiders by
handing OC its 1st loss. The Raiders have tied Shawnee in their series through the years but never
beaten them.
Thursday, October 27th
Girls CC (8-1) at CAL Individual Meet (Richard Stockton)
Brittany Sedberry finished first overall, 28 seconds in front of
teammate Renee Tomlin. It was the 4th straight year that Sedberry had won the CAL individual title.
Natalie Chamberlain was 10th. There was no team scoring.
Girls Soccer (12-4-2) tied Clearview, 1-1 OT
Katie Weiland scored the only OC goal.
Girls Tennis (11-8) lost to Mainland, 5-0
Only Jen Kirkpatrick at No. 3 singles was able to win a set against
the Mustangs.
Wednesday, October 26th
Boys Soccer (17-0) defeated Oakcrest, 7-1
The Raiders completed a perfect conference season with the win.
Rafael Duarte scored three times & Pat Tolomeo had a goal and 2 assists.
Field Hockey (16-0-1) defeated Vineland, 10-0
Kimmie Krzyk, Melissa Hunter, Lauren Smith & Katie Corson wach
scored twice & Devon Seifert her 16th shutout.
Girls Soccer (12-4-1) defeated Oakcrest, 2-1
Amy Reese scored early in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and
clinch the division title for OCHS. Katy Krattenmaker scored the Raiders' 1st half goal.
Girls Tennis (11-7) lost to Vineland, 5-0
OC failed to win a set against the South Jersey Group 4 champs.
Monday, October 24th
Field Hockey (15-0-1) defeated Cherokee, 3-0
Justine Kleeman scored the three-goal hat trick & Devon Seifert got
the shutout.
Girls Tennis (11-6) vs Mainland - INTERRUPTED
Boys Soccer (16-0) vs Eastern - CANCELLED
Sunday, October 23rd
SOUTH JERSEY COACHES TOURNAMENT:
Boys Soccer (16-0) defeated Absegami, 4-1 (Eastern)
The win advanced OC into the championship game against Rancocas
Valley. The Raiders took charge of the game with first half goals on penalty kicks by Kyle Evans and Pat
Tolomeo.

Boys Soccer (15-0) defeated Schalick, 4-0
Rafael Duarte scored twice and Mike Dugan got his 12th shutout as
the Raiders advanced to the semi-final round.
Boys CC (9-0) finished 1st at County Meet (Cape May Court House)
The Raiders clinched their 6th straight Cape May County
championship and their 26th in the meet's 33 years. Matt Cowhey was the individual champion with Ryan
Birchmeier 2nd. Brett Johnson was 4th, Will Pestalozzi 5th & John Fennekohl 6th for OCHS.
Girls CC (8-1) finished 1st at County Meet (Cape May Court House)
The Raiders won for the 21st time in the meet's 21 years and Brittany
Sedberry captured her 4th straight individual championship, something no boy or girl has ever done in Cape
May, Atlantic or Cumberland counties. Renee Tomlin was 2nd & Natalie Chamberlain 3rd.
Thursday, October 20th
Boys Soccer (14-0) defeated Lower Cape May, 3-0
Rafael Duarte, Randy Kohr & Ryan Scully - Mike Dugan got the shutout.
Field Hockey (14-0-1) defeated Mainland, 3-0
The Raiders clinched their 9th straight conference championship.
Casey Beyel scored twice & Devon Seifert notched her 14th shutout.
Girls Soccer (11-4-1) defeated Lower Cape May, 6-1
Six different players scored for OCHS.

Girls Tennis (11-6) lost to Millville, 5-0
Only the first doubles team of Emma Kelsey and Sarah Cheafsky
managed to win a set against the Thunderbolts, ranked No. 9 in South Jersey.
Tuesday, October 18th
Boys Soccer (13-0) defeated Mainland, 3-0
Rafael Duarte scored twice and Mike Dugan got the shutout.
Field Hockey (13-0-1) defeated Millville, 1-0
Casey Beyel's goal in the 1st three minutes was enough as Devon
Seifert recorded her 13th shutout.
Girls Tennis (11-5) lost to Vineland, 5-0
The Raiders failed to win a set against the newly-crowned South
Jersey Group 4 champions.
Girls Soccer (10-4-1) tied Mainland, 1-1
Casey Curran scored to give OCHS the lead but the Mustangs
