Friday, October 15th
Football (2-4) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 33-27
The 2 teams scored five times between them in the 4th quarter, EHT stopping a final OCHS drive with 21 seconds left. The Raiders took the lead on a George Coccodrilli TD in the 3rd quarter, then added to the lead with a Jim Crowley TD pass to Mike Hinsley in the 4th. After EHT scored twice to take the lead, A.J. Harris ran 60 yards for a TD to tie it. EHT's Pierre Reid scored his 3rd TD - and the game-winner - with 2:02 left. OC played without QB Jordan Torroni & two-way lineman Alex Iannone.
South Jersey Coaches Tournament:
Boys Soccer (14-0) defeated Holy Cross, 7-1
Pat Tolomeo & Rafael Duarte each scored twice in a rain storm that was frequently heavy. The Raiders will now host Rancocas Valley in the second round.
Girls CC (9-0) finished 1st at Cape May County Meet
Brittany Sedberry, Elizabeth Richardson & Allie Moreland finished 1-2-3 to keep OC unbeaten in the meet. It was Sedberry's third straight county title.
Field Hockey (13-1-1) defeated Vineland, 8-0
Krista Bordogna had the three-goal hat trick.
Boys CC (8-1) finished 1st at Cape May County Meet
Paul Boardman, Matt Cowhey, Jon Fennekohl & Mike Long finished 2nd through 5th as the Raiders won another county title.
Thursday, October 14th
Girls Soccer (11-0-2) defeated Holy Spirit, 5-1
Courtney Dougherty scored twice as OC handed Spirit its 2nd loss.
Girls Tennis (3-10) vs Egg Harbor Township - POSTPONED
Wednesday, October 13th
Field Hockey (12-1-1) defeated Oakcrest, 6-0
Melissa Hunter had the hat trick, improving her season total to 20 goals, second best in the conference.

Boys Soccer (13-0) defeated Hammonton, 7-0
Randy Kohr and Felipe Duarte each had 2 goals, Mike Dugan notched shutout No. 9.
Girls CC (8-0) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 15-50
Girls CC (9-0) defeated Oakcrest, 15-50
Brittany Sedberry, Allie Moreland & Elizabeth Richardson finished 1-2-3 to seal the wins for OC.
Girls Soccer (10-0-2) defeated Hammonton, 2-0
Lauren Nichol & Katie Ruiz scored the goals.
Boys CC (7-1) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 15-44
Boys CC (8-1) defeated Oakcrest, 19-41
Mike Long finished 1st overall then, after Gregg Hample of Oakcrest took 2nd, Matt Cowhey paced an OCHS wave in positions 3 through 8.
Girls Tennis (3-10) lost to Mainland, 5-0
The first doubles team of Kelly Levering & Jackie Crossman went three sets before losing.
Monday, October 11th
Boys Soccer (12-0) defeated Middle Township, 6-0
Rafael Duarte had 2 goals, Mike Dugan earned his 8th shutout.
Girls Tennis (3-9) lost to Millville, 4-1
Erica Toney & Jen Kirkpatrick won at second doubles in three sets.
Saturday, October 9th
Girls CC (7-0) finished 4th at South Jersey Open (Delsea)
Junior Brittany Sedberry finished 1st overall by 26 seconds. Allie Moreland was the next OCHS runner, finishing in 9th place.
Boys CC (6-1) finished 1st at South Jersey Open (Delsea)
Paul Boardman stepped up, taking 2nd overall, just two strides behind Kingsway's Ozzie Huerta, as the Raiders won the team title. About 25 seconds later an OCHS pack swarmed across the finish with Jon Fennekohl 6th, Mike Long 7th and Matt Cowhey 8th.
Boys Soccer (11-0) defeated Cherry Hill East, 4-0
Friday, October 8th
Football (2-3) lost to Millville, 34-28 OT
Jordan Torroni passed for 172 yards & 3 TDs to 3 different receivers. The Raiders turned the ball over in their final 4 possessions, including the overtime period. Jim Crowley scored twice, gained 81 yards rushing, 34 receiving & 76 on punt returns. Millville QB Bryan Pfirman passed for 122 yards & 2 TDs and ran for 2 TDs.
Field Hockey (11-1-1) defeated Cumberland, 4-1
Melissa Hunter had 2 goals for the Raiders in this non-conference win.
Girls Tennis (3-8) vs Bishop Eustace
Thursday, October 7th
Boys Soccer (10-0) defeated Absegami, 5-0
Rich Baker had a goal & 2 assists and Mike Dugan notched his 7th shutout of the season.
Field Hockey (10-1-1) defeated Absegami, 4-0
Kimmie Krzyk scored twice and Maddie Bauer & Devon Seifert shared the shutout.
Girls Soccer (9-0-2) tied Absegami, 2-2
Laura O'Shea & Gina Juiliano scored to give OC a 2-0 lead but Gami rallied in the 2nd half.

After a scoreless 1st half, Kyle Evans, Rafael Duarte & Pat Tolomeo each scored in the 2nd half. Mike Dugan got the shutout.
Girls CC (6-0) defeated Atlantic City, 23-36
Girls CC (7-0) defeated Lower Cape May, 15-50
The Raiders stretched their dual-meet win streak to 54 over 5 seasons. Brittany Sedberry finished 1st by 40 seconds, Allie Moreland was 3rd & Elizabeth Richardson 4th.
Girls Soccer (9-0-1) defeated Millville, 2-1
Katie Weiland scored both goals with assists by Laura O'Shea.
Field Hockey (9-1-1) defeated Atlantic City, 6-0

Girls Tennis (3-8) defeated Lower Cape May, 4-1
Kaitlin DuRoss & Amanda Hiltner won singles matches & the Raiders swept the doubles for their 2nd straight win.

Girls Tennis (2-8) defeated Oakcrest, 5-0
Paige Thomas, Kaitlin DuRoss & Amanda Hiltner all won straight-set victories in singles.

In the 5000-meter race, Brittany Sedberry was 29th, Elizabeth Richardson was 65th & Allie Moreland 67th.
Boys CC (4-1) finished 3rd at Great American Classic (Cary, NC)
Jon Fennekohl finished 7th, Mike Long 9th & Matt Cowhey 12th.

Friday, October 1st
Football (2-2) defeated Mainland, 35-28
Sophomore A.J. Harris ran for 147 yards & 2 TDs, including a 60-yarder that gave OC a 35-14 lead. Jim Crowley scored 14 points in the final 3:30 of the first half. Jordan Torroni threw for 139 yards and a TD. Mike Hinsley had an interception & a recovered fumble.
Boys Soccer (8-0) defeated Hammonton, 3-0
Kyle Evans scored one goal and assisted on goals by Felipe Duarte & Ryan Scully. Mike Davis got the shutout.
Girls Soccer (8-0-1) defeated Hammonton, 5-0
Five different players scored, four in the first half, and OC notched its 7th shutout of the season.
Field Hockey (8-1-1) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 4-1
Melissa Hunter scored the only goal as the Raiders suffered their 1st loss of the season. It marked the 1st time in at least 13 years that OCHS has allowed 4 goals.
Thursday, September 30th
Field Hockey (8-0-1) defeated Mainland, 5-0
Casey Beyel had a goal and two assists. The OC defense was so strong that Alicia Evans & Maddie Bauer shared the shutout without having to stop any shots.
Wednesday, September 29th
Boys Soccer (7-0) defeated Oakcrest, 6-0
Pat Tolomeo scored two goals for OC.
Girls Soccer (7-0-1) defeated Oakcrest, 7-1
Katie Weiland scored twice for the Raiders.
Girls Tennis (1-8) lost to Absegami, 3-2
Kaitlyn DuRoss was a straight-set winner at No. 2 singles and Amanda Hiltner was a three-set match at No. 3 singles.

The Raiders stretched their dual-meet win streak to 52 over 5 seasons. Brittany Sedberry finished 1st, Elizabeth Richardson 2nd and Allie Moreland 3rd - all finishing within a stride of each other.
Boys CC (3-1) defeated Absegami, 21-36
Boys CC (4-1) defeated Hammonton, 15-50
Mike Long finished 2nd overall, followed by Jon Fennekohl in 3rd, Paul Boardman 4th & Matt Cowhey 5th.

Kimmie Krzyk scored twice, Maddie Bauer & Alicia Evans combined for the shutout.
Friday, September 24th
Football (1-2) lost to Atlantic City, 7-0
The loss marked the 1st time in 110 games that OC was shut out. The streak dated back to November, 1993. AC scored its only TD on a 51-yard halfback pass in the 2nd quarter. OC, which played without leading ground-gainer George Coccodrilli, never got inside the Viking 40.
Boys Soccer (5-0) defeated Mainland, 4-1
Four different Raiders scored, three of them in the 1st half, as they handed the Mustangs their 1st defeat.
Girls Soccer (6-0) defeated Williamstown, 2-0
Katie Weiland & Laura O'Shea scored. Jordan Webster got the shutout.
Thursday, September 23rd
Field Hockey (6-0) defeated Vineland, 9-0
Melissa Hunter, Casey Beyel & Justine Kleeman each scored twice.
Girls Soccer (5-0) defeated Mainland, 2-1 OT
Maggie Davis scored the winning goal with 5:30 left in the 1st overtime period. Michelle McKinley had scored in the 2nd half to tie the game. Mainland's goal was the 1st allowed by OCHS this season.

Girls Tennis (1-6) lost to Mainland, 3-2
Amanda Hiltner won at No. 3 singles and the Kelly Levering-Jackie Crossman team won at first doubles.

Field Hockey (5-0) defeated Oakcrest, 7-0
Krista Bordogna & Kimmie Krzyk each scored twice.
Boys Soccer (4-0) defeated Vineland, 2-0
Rich Baker & Kyle Evans scored for the No. 1 ranked Raiders.
Girls Soccer (4-0) defeated Vineland, 2-0
Laura O'Shea & Casey Harper scored for OC, which won its 4th straight shutout.
Girls Tennis (1-5) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 3-2
Both OC doubles teams were straight set winners - Kelly Levering & Jackie Crossman at first doubles, Erica Toney & Jen Kirkpatrick at second. Junior Tara Cox almost pulled out the win, losing a tough three-set match at No. 3 singles.

The loss made it impossible for the OC girls to qualify for the Group 3 tournament.

Girls CC (3-0) at Cherokee Challenge
Brittany Sedberry finished 1st in the junior class race. Elizabeth Richardson was 2nd in the sophomore race & Allie Moreland 5th in the senior race.
Boys CC (2-1) at Cherokee Challenge, 9am
Jon Fennekohl finished 2nd in the sophomore race. Ryan Birchmeier was 8th among freshmen.
Field Hockey (4-0) defeated Holy Spirit, 6-0
Melissa Hunter & Krista Bordogna each scored twice.

Football (1-1) defeated Vineland, 21-7
Junior Jordan Torroni passed for over 100 yards again, getting 152 and connecting with Jim Crowley & sophomore A.J. Harris for TDs. Torroni also scored a 4th quarter TD following an interception by Crowley.
Field Hockey (3-0) defeated Absegami, 6-1
Aubrey Clark & Casey Beyel each scored twice.
Girls Tennis (1-3) defeated Oakcrest, 4-1
Paige Thomas, Kaitlyn DuRoss & Amanda Hiltner each won singles matches in straight sets.
